About Jackie

The stud is managed by Jackie Siu, herself a Grand Prix dressage rider who has successfully been competing internationally from Pony, Junior, Young Rider through to senior level.  Representing her birth place Hong Kong, Jackie has competed at four consecutive Asian Games in 2006, 2010, 2014 where she and Ferrera were placed 4th individually, and in 2018 when she partnered Jockey Club Fuerst on Tour to win the Individual Gold medal.  Jackie is also the first and only Asian rider ever to have qualified and competed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.  This year Jackie again made history by becoming the first Hong Kong dressage rider to compete at the World Equestrian Games.  With several top placings at CDI dressage competitions her next goals are the 2020 Olympic Games.

Jackie’s ambition and commitment to the sport has driven her to strive for the highest standards, from the care and welfare of the horses to ensuring quality training and competition experience.  During her career, Jackie has had the opportunity to work with some of the finest riders and trainers in the world, and experience the practical side of running prestigious training and breeding establishments.  Having trained several horses from the start of their career through to Grand Prix level dressage, Jackie has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to reach the highest level.  This insight has given her a clear direction for the Pebbly Hill Stud breeding program, which strives to combine the best bloodlines, provide a quality environment, ensure positive development for horses that are destined for top level sport.   The in-depth knowledge and passion for bloodlines and their attributes is invaluable in selecting the mares we have at stud and which sires to match with them.
