2020 Colt - Danone I x Breitling W x Florestan I
Danone I was the champion stallion of the 2003 Swedish licensing. Gorgeous, with an optimally uphill framed neckline, an ideal top line, long legs and correct stature. His achievement is not surprising considering his bloodlines, combining De Niro as a sire and Weltmeyer as a damsire. Danone I, himself a Grand Prix competitor, has also sired top Grand Prix horses up to Olympic and European Championship level, as well as licenced stallions, and top auction highlights.
Breitling W, himself an international Grand Prix winner is notable for the passing on an inherent ability for top level sport to his offspring. Prior to his licencing in Verden in 1998, Breitling had already competed at the Bundeschampionate, and was a finalist in the Nurnberger Burgpokal. He then trained on to Grand Prix level and enjoyed great results with wins in Nations Cup events. As he was mainly focused on his own competitive career, his use as a sire was relatively limited however he has several progeny who have had success at Grand Prix. For this reason, Breitling W was proclaimed Hannoverian Stallion of the Year in 2014. Grand Prix horses sired by Breitling W include Blind Date, Balmoral W, Burlington FRH, and Barolo winner at CDI Grand Prix level with Charlotte Dujardin.
Florestan I was champion of the 1988 Rhineland approval. The following year he went on to win his performance test with 129.02 points, and was in fact winner of both the dressage and jumping divisions. Florestan I has produced remarkable progeny including 220 state premium mares and 90 licenced stallions, including Fidermark, Florencio, French Kiss and Furst Heinrich to name a few.
