Sandro Hit x Donnerhall x Pik Bube I
Sandro Hit has become one of the most prominent stallions of modern dressage breeding. His sporting career highlights include winning the Bundeschampionat, being crowned World Champion of six year old dressage horses, and then training on to Grand Prix level. Not only was he an outstanding athlete himself, his influence on the next generation of top level horses has been remarkable. From foals to Grand Prix, his progeny ooze quality and refinement. Amongst his offspring are 186 licenced sons and over 277 state premium daughters. At the 2016 Olympic Games, Sandro Hit was the sire of Olympic gold medallist Showtime in the dressage competition, and Olympic bronze medallist Santano II in the eventing discipline, a true testament to the exceptional athletic influence of their sire. There are numerous international Grand Prix horses amongst his crop, including Selten HW, Sancette, Showtime FHR, Sandro Boy and of course Ferrera herself.
Ferrera decends from an exceptional dam line. Her dam Ferna is the full sister to Olympic medallist and prolific stallion Don Schufro. A descendent of Donnerhall, one of the most distinguished dressage horses of all time, with numerous international Grand Prix victories and several championship medals to his name. Donnerhall’s significance to dressage bloodlines is undisputed, his offspring not only inherit physical ability for high level dressage but also outstanding character.
The combination of Donnerhall with Pik Bube I is considered a golden cross in producing horses of exceptional quality. Through his sire Pik Konig, Pik Bube I brings thoroughbred lineage to his decendants, who themselved have been successful in all disciplines.
